When does NimbuScope come out?

How do I leave the waitlist?
From the link at the bottom of every email we send you, or write to info@bulbmode.com. If the confirmation email didn’t arrive, look in the spam folder, or sign up again in a few minutes.
Where does NimbuScope work?
The clouds come from three forecast models: ICON-EU from the German weather service (DWD) for Europe, UKV from the Met Office for the United Kingdom and Ireland, at 2 km, and HRRR from NOAA for the United States. Outside those areas the app still works out the sun and the mountains, without the clouds.
Does it forecast the colours of the sky?
No. Whether a cloud turns red depends on haze, humidity and what lies between the sun and the cloud, and no model forecasts it reliably. NimbuScope tells you whether the sun’s light gets through, for how many minutes, and which clouds the ray passes under or meets on the way.
Do I need an account?
No. Without an account all of NimbuScope works, subscription included. With one, your saved places and settings follow you to every iPhone. You can sign in with Apple, Google or your email.
Which iPhones does it run on?
Any iPhone with iOS 17 or later.
Metres or feet?
Both. Heights in metres or feet, distances in kilometres or miles, times in 24 or 12 hours: choose them in the app’s settings.
How do I cancel the subscription?
Apple manages it. On your iPhone open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose NimbuScope.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, open Account › Delete account. Your data goes at once, and from the backups within 30 days. The privacy policy has the details.
